Have you ever attended a seminar or a speaking engagement session? These usually last a couple of hours and are filled with experts who give helpful tips on a specific subject or area of expertise. When sending out a speaking engagement request letter, you need to make sure you grab your audience with a hook and reel them in. However, not everyone has the ability to do this, only people who have a great speaking ability and personality will find this very profitable.
Starting to Write
Come at the recipient with a natural hook that draws their attention. Speak directly to them and don’t make it sound like a commercial. You can include a fact in the beginning of your open letter so that you are sure to grab their attention.
State your request and ask the recipient if they would like to attend a speaking session or seminar.
State whatever credentials you have that you feel makes you an authority on the subject to speak about it.
Ask the recipient if they’re interested and ask them to respond by a certain date to ensure a rush.
