Follow up letter after meeting
After meeting up with a potential client or customer, you should always be sending out a follow-up letter after meeting with the perspective individual. Building and starting a business relationship depends on trust and proper communication, so sending out a letter after a meeting is a great way to build on that trust and communication. You can also send this out to remind someone of your number and your name in case they have either forgotten it or misplaced it.
You want to make sure that you send a follow-up letter after meeting very shortly (a couple of days) after meeting because if you wait too long, they might forget about you and move on to other business deals with other people.
Starting to Write
List how it was a pleasure to meet someone and to be in their presence.
Remind them of the conversation that took place during the meat in case they had forgotten about it.
If you have any tips or leads for the client or customer, then be sure to let them know.
You have to include some reason for them to contact you in the future other than just meeting again.

Dear Mark,
I had a great time and we discussed a lot this weekend during our meeting. I know I promised to send you the Marketing Tactics 2013 magazine but I will be going on an emergency trip tomorrow so it will have to wait a couple of days.
Meanwhile, I noticed that the local marketing agency LO Marketing is hiring new employees with a background in marketing and I think you would be a great fit. You should definitely go in there and submit an application as I doubt many people going in there will have more experience or qualifications than you. Here’s their number: 402-202-1382.

I would like to say that first of all, I really enjoyed your company and meeting up with you during the empowerment seminar over speaking and finding the natural beauty in life. It was a great seminar with a lot of great information that was shared. The same speaker is holding another seminar in New York and I plan on attending that seminar as well, which there are two dates for.
