When someone receives a promotion or a life time achievement, it’s sometimes just great to know people are there and care about you. Congratulation on a promotion or achievement whether it’s in the work place, in the Military or where ever it may be is professional and courteous. Not many words are needed here, it’s short, simple and to the point.
Congratulate them straight away and address them by name. Identify the cause or reason they received the promotion and don’t beat around the bush.
Wish them well and hope for more promotions or achievements down the road.
Let the recipient know that their family and friends are thinking of them and want nothing but the best for them.
I know it’s been a while since we’ve talked, but I heard about you becoming a regional manager for your local retail store and we couldn’t wait to congratulate you! We know you’ll make a great manager and that you’ll exceed your sales quotas!
We’d like to take this time to wish you well and we’ve always believed in you no matter what you did. We hope there are many more promotions for you in store down the road and hopefully you’ll land that corporate position you’ve always wanted. We’ll be praying for you and thinking of you in your future endeavors.
